General Information

 Leopold and Terri Haas own and operate Cascade Catering. Both Leo and Terri have extensive hospitality and business backgrounds. Leo born outside of Salzburg, Austria studied and trained in the Culinary Arts in Austria. and worked with Sheraton Hotels International for twelve years. Leo’s passion for food led him to Norway, the Middle East, Africa, Asia and Guam, where he met his wife, Terri, a native of Reno, Nevada.

Leo and Terri opened a fine dining Mediterranean Restaurant on Guam and then relocated to Washington State. Leo did consulting for several restaurants in Seattle. In 1996 Leo and Terri opened Restaurant Österreich, a fine dining European Restaurant in Leavenworth, WA.

In the eight years of operating Restaurant Österreich, they received many awards and write-ups including:

Terri’s experience includes Owning/operating several restaurants. a culinary degree from California Culinary Academy, luxury hotel management, wines sales, accounting and real estate.
